"Protein Sequencing ......" a must to read
Michael Kinter has presented the topic in a scientific yet enjoyable format. I found the information to be extremely interesting and beneficial in my laboratory. Lets face it folks this isn't the easiest nor most interesting topic to write about. Job well done DR. Kinter. I only have one criticism, there should have been more photos and illustrations. Get your copies quick this will no doubt be on the NewYork times best seller list before long.

Terrific Reference Book
This book is a terrific resource for both mental health professionals and consumers. It uses plain language and covers most types, uses, and properties of psychotropic drugs on the market today. It is a must for practicing psychologists, therapists, and counselors. And, perhaps psychiatrists as well.

Too cute!
It is very clever. Adults liked it and kids will love it -- how could they not like a story about underwear?!?! Cute illustrations. A must have for those who want to bring a little "culture" into their child's life.

Radar Reflectivity Measurement: Techniques and Applications (Artech House Radar Library)
Published in Hardcover by Artech House (August, 1989)
Author: Nicholas C. Currie
Average review score:

Excellent source of range theory for RCS engineers
This is an well orgranized book on various aspects of RCS measurement thoery and practice. An excellent book for the RCS engineer to keep on their bookshelf to ensure a good understanding of what goes on when they test at ranges. The sections of the book stand by themselves supporting the readers need to quickly learn subjects. Information is provided with sufficent detail (math/theory) to allow the engineer to get a good understanding of the issues. The book could use a better index, I found I relied on the table of contents for most searches

Ramage & the Saracens (The Lord Ramge Novels, No.17)
Published in Paperback by McBooks Press (01 September, 2002)
Author: Dudley Pope
Average review score:

Unbelievable Series!!!
I wish Dudley pope were still alive and publishing more tales of lord Ramage. I'm on book 17 of 18 and they've all been sleep-stoppers for me. These books follow the career of a bright young lieutenant as he rises in ranks of the English navy between the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. He's very hard on the french and Spanish navies. If you are French or Spanish, you might be offended. I'm not sure women will enjoy these books as much as men, since there are a few cliche seens involving the hero and beautiful women that make the novels seem somewhat chauvinistic. However, the writing is superb, the ideas are original, and the real joy is in trying to figure out how Ramage will accomplish unbelievable missions and then seeing how your ideas, never quite measure up to his performance. I can't do these books justice. Just see for yourself.

Ramage at Trafalgar (The Lord Ramage Novels, No. 16)
Published in Paperback by McBooks Press (01 September, 2002)
Author: Dudley Pope
Average review score:

Fascinating
After a good deal of interesting matters on shore, Ramage and his faithful crew (already rich with prize money but faultlessly loyal to their captain) race off to join Admiral Lord Nelson before Cadiz in Spain, and the great naval battle of Trafalgar in 1805. More than any other nautical novel I've read, this one makes clear just how revolutionary were Nelson's killer tactics. It is worth reading just for the views of Nelson at home and at war. The reasons why Nelson is Britain's greatest hero are made clear. The story is constructed with a long narrative line building to a thrilling climax, and a wonderfully sad ending as Ramage appears headed for another court-martial due to his valiant actions taken without orders.

Book notes: poorly proof-read for a McBooks book. The only title in the Ramage series with a genuinely old painting on the cover (but has nothing to do with the story). While it can certainly stand on its own better than most in the series because it more closely concerns real historical figures than usual, as the 16th of 18 this volume is probably not the place to start.

The Raven's Feather
Published in Paperback by Petals of Life (01 November, 1998)
Author: Tamalyn Nicholas
Average review score:

Exceptional!
Where does one begin to sing the praises of this exceptional author? Ms. Nicholas has captured in The Raven's Feather a classic suspense tale with twists and turns riveting the reader to the powerful pages. It's hard to believe this is the author's first novel - it's a fantastic piece of writing and I literally could not put it down!

Jordan Blake and Paige Kendall were the best of friends, both from privileged families, with planned careers and seeking the perfect man. Life's imperfections prevail, however, when the discovery of a child pornography ring masterminded by an unknown source touches both of their lives in a most personal way.

Searching for the truth brings tragic consequences and shatters the lives of all who tread the path into the unknown. The Wyndham brothers become a source of steadfast love for the young women, reinforcing the courage needed to procure the answers about a past filled with mistrust, tragedy, hatred, and sadness. The web of intrique weaves itself into a frenzy as some meet with an untimely death and Jordan is left to pick up what's left behind, putting the puzzle together one piece at a time.

This splendid mystery kept me in suspense from beginning to end. It reads with ease and aids us in dealing with the pain and suffering felt by the characters. I was intriqued until the very last page of The Raven's Feather and would love to see a sequel to this marvelous mainstream novel.
